Introduction to reiserfsprogs
The reiserfsprogs package contains
various utilities for use with the Reiser file system.
This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-10.1
platform.

Configuration
Enable the following option in the kernel configuration and
recompile the kernel:
File systems --->
<*/M> Reiserfs support [CONFIG_REISERFS_FS]
Installation of reiserfsprogs
Install reiserfsprogs by running
the following commands:
sed -i '/parse_time.h/i #define _GNU_SOURCE' lib/parse_time.c &&
autoreconf -fiv &&
./configure --prefix=/usr \
--sbindir=/sbin &&
make
This package does not come with a test suite.
Now, as the root
user:
make install
Command Explanations
sed ...: Ensure a
variable is defined for use with recent include files.
--sbindir=/sbin
: This
switch ensures that the reiserfsprogs utilities are installed in
/sbin
.

debugreiserfs

called without options, it prints the super block of any

is used to check or repair a ReiserFS file system
