libxslt-1.1.35
Installation of libxslt
Install libxslt by running the
following commands:
sed -i s/3000/5000/ libxslt/transform.c doc/xsltproc.{1,xml} &&
./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-static --without-python &&
make
Fix the date field in a shipped man page:
sed -e 's@\$Date\$@16 February 2022@' -i doc/xsltproc.1
To test the results, issue: make
check.
Now, as the root
user:
make install
Command Explanations
sed -i s/3000/5000/
...: this increases the recursion limit in libxslt.
This is needed by some packages for their documentation.
--without-python
: This
parameter disables the libxslt python module since it does not
support Python3. If you wish to enable this module, make sure that
Python2 libxml2-2.9.13
module is installed, and remove this parameter.
--disable-static
: This
switch prevents installation of static versions of the libraries.
