Exo-4.18.0
Introduction to Exo
Exo is a support library used in
the Xfce desktop. It also has some
helper applications that are used throughout Xfce.
This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS 12.0
platform.

Installation of Exo
Install Exo by running the
following commands:
./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc &&
make
To test the results, issue: make
check.
Now, as the root
user:
make install
Command Explanations
--enable-gtk-doc
: Use this parameter if
GTK-Doc is installed and you wish
to rebuild and install the API documentation.

is a command line utility to create or edit icons on the
desktop

is a command line frontend to the Xfce Preferred Applications
framework. It can either be used to open a list of urls
with the default URL handler or launch the preferred
application for a certain category

contains additional widgets, a framework for editable
toolbars, light-weight session management support and
functions to automatically synchronise object properties
(based on GObject Binding Properties)
