Install kdenetwork with:
./configure --prefix=$KDE_PREFIX --disable-debug \
--disable-dependency-tracking &&
make
Now, as the root user:
make install
To utilize the LAN Browser of konqueror you'll need to create the /etc/lisarc file and start the lisa daemon. Create /etc/lisarc by filling out the information in the “Guided LISa Setup” section of the “LISa Daemon” tab on the “Control Center” — “Internet & Network” — “Local Network Browsing” dialog box.
Install the /etc/rc.d/init.d/lisa init script included in the blfs-bootscripts-6.0 package.
make install-lisa
There is no explicit configuration for the rest of the kdenetwork package, however some individual programs need to be set up with user information.
