The UDisks package provides a storage daemon that implements well-defined D-Bus interfaces that can be used to query and manipulate storage devices.
This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-7.10 platform.

Install UDisks by running the following commands:
./configure --prefix=/usr \ --sysconfdir=/etc \ --localstatedir=/var && make
To test the results, issue: make check.
Now, as the root
user:
make profiledir=/etc/bash_completion.d install
--enable-gtk-doc
: Use this parameter if
GTK-Doc is installed and you wish
to rebuild and install the API documentation.
