DejaGnu is a framework for running
test suites on GNU tools. It is written in expect, which uses Tcl (Tool command language). It was installed
by LFS in the temporary /tools
directory. These instructions install it permanently.
This package is known to build and work properly using an LFS-7.6 systemd platform.

Install DejaGnu by running the following commands:
./configure --prefix=/usr && makeinfo --html --no-split -o doc/dejagnu.html doc/dejagnu.texi && makeinfo --plaintext -o doc/dejagnu.txt doc/dejagnu.texi
To test the results, issue make check.
Now, as the root
user:
make install && install -v -dm755 /usr/share/doc/dejagnu-1.5.1 && install -v -m644 doc/dejagnu.{html,txt} \ /usr/share/doc/dejagnu-1.5.1
