User Notes: http://wiki.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/wiki/libffi
Install libffi by running the following commands:
sed -e '/^includesdir/ s/$(libdir).*$/$(includedir)/' \ -i include/Makefile.in && sed -e '/^includedir/ s/=.*$/=@includedir@/' \ -e 's/^Cflags: -I${includedir}/Cflags:/' \ -i libffi.pc.in && ./configure --prefix=/usr --disable-static && make
To test the results, issue: make check.
Now, as the root
user:
make install
sed ...
include/Makefile.in and sed ... libffi.pc.in: Makes the
package install headers into the standardized /usr/include
instead of /usr/lib/libffi-3.2.1/include.
.
--disable-static
: This
switch prevents installation of static versions of the libraries.
